At Savera, we ensure that our fees reflect our specialized training, education, skills, and experience. We offer services with the highest professional and ethical standards for competitive and reasonable fees. We also provide flexibility through sliding scales for students and early stage professionals.

 

Neuropsychological Evaluations

There are multiple factors that determine the cost of evaluations, including the presenting problem, complexity of the assessment, and types of standardized tests. Most comprehensive assessments take approximately 25-35 hours, which includes 1-1.5 hour initial intake, 4-8 hours face-to-face assessment administration, scoring/interpretation, review of medical/academic records, gathering collateral information from relevant sources (e.g., teachers, healthcare providers, family members), report writing, and 1-2 hour feedback sessions. Fee for neuropsychological and psychological evaluations is based on an hourly rate of $300. Students seeking evaluations for academic or standardized testing accommodations may be offered a flat rate of $4,000 (with prior documentation of disability) and $6,000 (with no prior history of evaluations or accommodations).

 

Psychotherapy

Initial intakes (75-90 minutes) are billed at $190. Subsequent sessions for individuals (50-60 minutes) are billed at $175. Couples and family sessions (75-90 minutes) are billed at $190. Rates may be offered on a sliding scale in some cases.

 

Leadership Development

Fee for leadership development depends on multiple factors, including the nature of the service (individual coaching, team coaching, or workshop/facilitation), identified client (e.g. individual vs. organization), and duration and scope of the service. 

 

Insurance

 

Some of our providers accept Aetna, Blue Shield of California, Optum/UHC, and Anthem. During our initial call, we will typically ask you for your Member ID, Date of Birth, and Address in order to determine your current benefits and coverage. In order to bill your insurance, we may be required to submit a diagnostic code and procedure code.

 

For all other insurances, we are considered an out-of-network provider. If you have a PPO insurance plan with out-of-network mental health coverage, we would be happy to provide you with a statement that indicates the date of service, paid fees, and a diagnostic code. You can submit that statement (“Super Bill”) to your insurance for reimbursement. We highly recommend that you contact your insurance to determine details regarding your coverage, deductibles, and reimbursement rates for out-of-network mental health services. 

 

Lyra

 

Dr. Amrita Mehta is currently a Lyra provider. If your employer is a member with Lyra, you can request company-sponsored therapy sessions with Dr. Mehta through their Lyra member portal.

 

Some of the Lyra members include:  Lyft, Facebook, SpaceX, Pinterest, eBay, Stripe, Tesla, Electronic Arts, Uber, Red Bull, and Amgen.

 

Payment Method

 

New patients are requested to complete a Credit Card Pre-Authorization form, which is stored in a secure Electronic Health Records (EHR) patient file. We accept major credit/debit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), Health Savings Account (HSA) cards, or checks. Online payments can also accepted using PayPal.
